The potential difference between two points A and B is $V_{AB}= V_{A}-V_{B}$ and $V_{BA}= V_{B}-V_{A}$ .

i.e, $V_{AB}=-V_{BA}$

$V_{AB}+V_{BA}=0$ .

This equation implies that the total work done in moving a charge from A to B $(V_{AB})$ and then from B to A $(V_{BA})$ is zero.

i.e, $\oint_{l}\overrightarrow{E}.\overrightarrow{dl}=0$
